Cricket South Africa (CSA) has confirmed a 15-member squad for the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2026 in Sri Lanka and India.
South Africa retain Aiden Markram as captain with Quinton de Kock, and veteran finisher David Miller in the lineup. While South Africa’s bowling unit consists of Kagiso Rabada, Anrich Nortje, Lungi Ngidi, Marco Jansen, alongside teenage sensation Kwena Maphaka.
All-round depth is provided by Donovan Ferreira, George Linde, Jason Smith, and Marco Jansen. Keshav Maharaj leads the spin department, with Linde offering a second frontline spin option.

The 2026 T20 World Cup is set to begin on February 7, 2026, and will conclude on March 8, 2026. South Africa is placed in Group D with New Zealand, the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Canada, and Afghanistan. The latter has already announced its squad for the World Cup, as have Australia, England, and defending T20 World Cup champions and hosts India.
The opening Match Day of the T20 World Cup will be a triple-header as Pakistan takes on the Netherlands, India takes on the USA, and the West Indies takes on Bangladesh.
