Gold prices in Pakistan rose on Monday, in line with the gains in the international market.
In the local market, the price of gold per tola reached Rs. 464,762 after a gain of Rs. 9,200 during the day.
Similarly, 10-gram gold was sold at Rs. 398,458 after increasing by Rs. 7,888, according to rates shared by the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).
On Saturday, the gold price per tola had reached Rs. 455,562 following a reduction of Rs. 4,700 during the day.
The international rate of gold was up by $92 to reach $4,424 per ounce, with a premium of $20.
Meanwhile, the price of silver also rose, increasing by Rs. 267 to reach Rs. 8,023 per tola, marking a new all-time high.
