HEC Announces Scholarships for Pakistani Students in Bangladesh

The Higher Education Commission (HEC) has announced scholarships for undergraduate engineering and architecture programs in Bangladesh.

Under this initiative, admissions have been opened for international students at the Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET).

According to HEC, Pakistani students can apply for these scholarships only through the Higher Education Commission, and direct applications will not be accepted. The scholarships are being offered for selected undergraduate programs in engineering and architecture.

Applicants are required to submit the following documents:

• BUET Application Form
• Academic certificates and result cards
  • Matriculation result card and certificate
  • Intermediate result card and certificate
  • O-Level equivalence certificate
  • A-Level equivalence certificate
• Passport
• Three recent passport-size color photographs with a blue background
• Proof of English proficiency

The commission has stated that the deadline for submitting applications is January 16, 2026.

Students have been advised to ensure that their applications are complete and submitted before the deadline to allow for timely processing.
