Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif has announced the completion of the first-ever skating track in Hafizabad district, Punjab.
The announcement was shared by the chief minister on X (formerly Twitter), where she stated that skating tracks are being developed in public parks for children. She also emphasized the importance of safety while using the facility.
“Making skating tracks for you in public parks, but please wear protective gear, kids,” she wrote.
This initiative is part of Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz’s vision to provide enhanced recreational facilities and promote healthy activities for the public.
In a similar move to enhance public recreation, the Parks and Horticulture Authority (PHA) has launched a major family park project in Adiala, Rawalpindi.
The park will include jogging and cycling tracks, an open-air gym, a mini-golf area, an indoor games hall, cricket and football zones, tennis courts, an ATV track, and a skating rink. A water pond is also under construction.
