Honor is preparing to expand its Magic8 lineup with a new device, and real-world images have now surfaced showing what appears to be the upcoming Magic8 Pro Air. The leaked visuals and specifications offer a clearer picture of how this model will position itself within the series.
According to multiple posts shared on Weibo, the phone will be named the Magic8 Pro Air. Honor had previously hinted at a device that blends both Pro and Air characteristics, and the latest leaks appear to confirm that approach by combining a slim design with high-end hardware.
Design, Display, and Performance
The Magic8 Pro Air is expected to be extremely thin, measuring just 6.1mm, with a reported weight of 155 grams. Leaked images show a distinctive rear camera visor that protrudes from the back panel and houses three camera sensors. The layout appears inspired by recent iPhone Air concepts and the Pixel 7 Pro style visor, although the sensor placement is reversed compared to Google’s design.
The device is shown in multiple finishes, with color options said to include black, white, purple, and orange.
Previous leaks suggest the Magic8 Pro Air will feature a 6.3-inch AMOLED display. Under the hood, the phone is rumored to be powered by MediaTek’s Dimensity 9500 chipset, positioning it as a performance-focused model despite its slim profile.
Cameras
The main rear camera is expected to feature a 50MP sensor with a 1/1.3-inch size, matching the primary camera found on the Magic8 Pro. However, details about the other two rear sensors have not yet been revealed. The triple camera setup is integrated into the raised visor design seen in the leaked images.
Battery and Charging
Despite its thin build, the Magic8 Pro Air is said to pack a 5,500mAh battery. The device will reportedly use silicon-carbon anode battery technology and support 80W wired fast charging.
Launch Expectations
The Magic8 Pro Air is rumored to launch in China later this month. While Honor has not officially confirmed the device yet, the growing number of leaks and real images suggest an announcement may be close.
