Honor is preparing to unveil the Magic8 Pro Air on January 19, and its teaser campaign for the slim and lightweight flagship is gaining pace. The latest teasers focus on the phone’s camera system, revealing detailed specifications for all three rear sensors.
Honor has confirmed that the Magic8 Pro Air will feature a 50MP main camera using a large 1/1.3-inch sensor. The primary camera will be paired with a 64MP periscope telephoto lens.
According to tipster UniverseIce, the main camera will offer an f/1.6 aperture with a 23mm equivalent focal length. The periscope telephoto camera is said to feature an f/2.6 aperture and a 74mm equivalent focal length. Honor’s periscope setup will reportedly support 3.2x optical zoom and up to 100x digital zoom.
The third rear camera is expected to be a 50MP ultrawide sensor. This lens will reportedly use an f/2.2 aperture with a 16mm equivalent focal length.
Honor has also shared official images showing the Magic8 Pro Air in multiple color options. While specific color names were not detailed, the company continues to highlight the device’s slim and lightweight design as a key focus of the Pro Air branding.
Based on earlier rumors, the Magic8 Pro Air is expected to feature a 6.3-inch AMOLED display. The phone is also rumored to be powered by MediaTek’s Dimensity 9500 chipset and could offer storage options of up to 1TB.
Honor has not yet confirmed these specifications, but additional details are expected as the January 19 launch event approaches.
