Pakistan vs Australia T20I Series Schedule and Timings Confirmed

The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has officially announced the schedule for the upcoming T20I series at home against Australia, with the three-match series set to be played later this month in Lahore.

The series is expected to provide valuable match practice for both teams as they prepare for the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2026. Pakistan will compete in Group A of the tournament, while Australia have been placed in Group B.

All three T20Is will be hosted at the Gaddafi Stadium, with matches scheduled for 29 January, 31 January, and 1 February. Australia’s squad is due to arrive in Lahore on Wednesday, 28 January. The toss for each match will take place at 5:30 PM, while play is set to begin at 6:00 PM.

This tour will mark Australia’s third visit to Pakistan since their return in March–April 2022, when they played Tests, ODIs, and a one-off T20I. More recently, the Australian side also featured in three matches of the ICC Champions Trophy 2025 held in Pakistan.

The only previous T20I between the two sides at the Gaddafi Stadium took place on 5 April 2022, where Australia secured a narrow three-wicket victory.

Speaking about the series, PCB Chief Operating Officer Sumair Ahmed Syed said the board was eager to welcome Australia once again.

He described the tour as an exciting start to the cricketing year for local fans and encouraged supporters to attend the matches in large numbers as both teams fine-tune their preparations for the T20 World Cup. He added that the Gaddafi Stadium has become a familiar venue for Australia, having hosted them in multiple formats since 2022.
