Pakistani Startups Can Now Get Up to 60% Cloud Cost Refund With New Program

Ignite- National Technology Fund, operating under the Ministry of IT and Telecommunication, has invited Pakistani tech startups to apply for the Prime Minister’s Cloud Program for Startups, a national initiative aimed at accelerating growth through cloud adoption and cost optimization.

Under the initiative, selected startups may receive up to 60 %reimbursement of cloud costs, depending on their stage and approved tier.

The one-year program is designed to strengthen Pakistan’s digital startup ecosystem by enabling startups to adopt, optimize, and scale their cloud infrastructure. The program also provides expert guidance on cloud architecture, service selection, and cost optimization. In addition, participating startups will gain ecosystem exposure through program-led activities and collaborations with leading Cloud Service Providers.

The program is open to Pakistani tech startups at early deployment or scaling stages that offer technology-based products or services. Eligible applicants must either be using cloud infrastructure or planning to adopt it. They must also demonstrate growth potential and clearly justify cloud usage in line with their business requirements.

According to the program framework, startups will be selected through a competitive online application process. Successful applicants will receive a formal offer that outlines their tier, cloud credit limit, and agreed key performance indicators, including user growth, revenue, and milestones.

Startups will initially use cloud services with their own funds and later submit verified invoices to claim reimbursements under the approved terms and conditions.
