CNG stations remain closed in Peshawar and several other districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, creating serious problems for commuters and daily wage earners.
According to Dunya News, gas outlets in Peshawar, Mardan, Abbottabad, and Karak have been shut down due to ongoing gas shortages.
Citizens say the closures, combined with 16-hour gas load-shedding, have disrupted daily life. They report that gas is unavailable not only at CNG stations but also for domestic use, leaving households struggling to manage basic needs.
Commuters and transporters complain that the prolonged shutdowns have severely affected their livelihoods. Many drivers said they are forced to wait for hours at closed stations, wasting both time and income.
Daily wage earners expressed frustration, saying it has become difficult to work and earn a living without fuel for vehicles.
Residents have urged authorities to take immediate steps to resolve the gas crisis and restore CNG supply to prevent further economic hardship.
