Beaconhouse National University has been shortlisted for Outstanding Contribution to Environmental Leadership and Research Project of the Year in Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences. Lahore University of Management Sciences appears in Outstanding Support for Students and Research Project of the Year in Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences.

Times Higher Education editor Chris Havergal said the shortlisted entries reflect the diversity and depth of higher education across Asia, highlighting strong performance across teaching, research, innovation, and community engagement.

Winners of the Times Higher Education Awards Asia 2026 will be announced at a ceremony in Hong Kong on April 22, coinciding with the opening day of the THE Asia Universities Summit, which will be hosted in partnership with the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology.
