Gold, Silver See Massive Price Jump Despite Crossing Record Milestone

Gold prices in Pakistan climbed to another record level on Friday in line with a strong rally in the international market, while silver also surged to a new all-time high in the local market.

In the domestic market, the price of gold per tola jumped by Rs. 9,100 to settle at Rs. 514,662.

Similarly, the price of 10-gram gold rose by Rs. 7,802 to Rs. 441,239, according to rates released by the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).

A day earlier on Thursday, gold had declined, with the per tola rate falling by Rs. 800 to Rs. 505,562.

In the international market, gold prices climbed by $91 to reach $4,923 per ounce, including a premium of $20.

Meanwhile, silver prices in the local market also surged, with the per tola rate increasing by Rs. 372 to Rs. 10,275, marking a new historic high.
