Punjab Introduces New Subject in All Schools

Punjab has taken a major step to modernize education in its government schools, introducing a new subject aimed at preparing students for the demands of the digital era.

Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz announced on her official X account that Artificial Intelligence (AI) education will be rolled out across all public schools in the province from today.

She said every student, without discrimination, will gain access to modern digital and analytical tools needed to compete in the contemporary world.

The program includes an AI teacher in every public school, with 1,000 teachers trained as AI Master Trainers. The curriculum is set to be fully integrated within 60 days.

The chief minister described the project as a “historic digital leap” for Punjab, highlighting that the province is leading the way in preparing students for the demands of the future.
