Viral posts on social media are claiming that a Pakistani military officer named Hussain Chaudhry became the first Pakistani shaheed in Gaza, with some accounts alleging the story was cited by Israel’s Channel 12. However, no such report exists from Channel 12, and the claim is not backed by any credible source.
The narrative appears to be fabricated, and the photo being shared to support it has also been misused.
The circulating posts allege that “Hussain Chaudhry” was martyred in Gaza, twisting unrelated updates about clashes involving Hamas and inserting Pakistan’s name to create a sensational but baseless story. To add weight, the posts attribute the claim to Israeli media, but there is no evidence of any such mention in reputable reporting.
Afghan propaganda accounts are falsely claiming that a Pakistani military officer named Hussain Chaudhary was killed in Gaza. This is completely false and fabricated.

The attached photo is of a Pakistani soldier martyred in DI Khan, not Gaza. The picture being circulated as “Hussain Chaudhry” is actually of Subedar Shoukat Hussain, who was shaheed in Pakistan, not abroad.
According to the incident details, Subedar Shoukat Hussain embraced martyrdom during a clash between security forces and TTP militants in Rodi village, tehsil Kulachi, Dera Ismail Khan. Militants reportedly attempted to carry out an attack in the area, and security forces responded in time. During the intense exchange of fire, he fought bravely and was martyred in the line of duty.

The claim has been amplified by accounts described as Afghan propaganda pages, including one operating under the name “Islamabad Post” despite not being based in Pakistan. The account has reportedly adjusted its location settings to “Central Asia” to mask its origin and has a track record of sharing anti-Pakistan narratives.
