Quetta Gladiators have announced their retained players for the 2026 Pakistan Super League (PSL 11) season, finalizing their core group ahead of the league’s first-ever player auction set for February 11.
PSL 11 is being billed as a historic edition because the competition has revamped its squad-building system. For the first time, teams will assemble their line-ups through an auction-based model, replacing the draft format used in previous seasons.
Retention rules have also been tightened. In the first 10 PSL seasons, franchises were allowed to retain up to eight players. Under the updated PSL 11 framework, each team can now keep only four players, spread across categories.
Quetta Gladiators had 14 players placed across categories ahead of the retention deadline.
From the available list, the Gladiators confirmed four retentions:
Quetta chose not to retain any player from the Silver category.
PSL 11 will also introduce a bigger league structure as the tournament expands from six teams to eight. Hyderabad and Sialkot Stallionz are the two new franchises joining the competition and will debut in the upcoming season.
PSL 11 will begin on March 26 and continue until May 3.
