Saudi Arabia will start issuing Hajj visas to pilgrims worldwide from February 8, the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah confirmed on Thursday. The early launch is part of an accelerated schedule to improve services and ensure the comfort of pilgrims, in line with the Kingdom’s Vision 2030.
The ministry confirmed that contracts for all pilgrim services at the holy sites, including accommodations in Makkah booked through the Nusk platform, have been finalized. Around 750,000 pilgrims have registered so far, with 30,000 packages booked directly from home countries.
Approximately 485 camps have been allocated for international pilgrims, and 73 Hajj affairs offices have completed their basic contractual arrangements.
In Pakistan, the government has completed registration for 119,000 pilgrims, while 60,000 private pilgrims have also registered, Federal Minister for Religious Affairs Sardar Muhammad Yousaf confirmed last month.
He added that arrangements for food, transportation, and other services are finalized following a competitive process, ensuring smooth operations according to the Saudi timeline.
