Oppo has introduced a new K series smartphone with the launch of the Oppo K14x. The device succeeds last year’s K13x and continues to use the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chipset.
The Oppo K14x features a 6.75-inch LCD with an HD Plus resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. The panel reaches a peak brightness of up to 1,125 nits.
The phone includes a side-mounted fingerprint scanner and carries an IP64 rating for dust and splash resistance. It is available in Icy Blue and Prism Violet color options.
Powering the Oppo K14x is the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chipset, the same processor used in its predecessor. The phone is offered with up to 6GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 128GB of UFS 2.2 internal storage. Storage can be expanded using a microSD card.
The device runs ColorOS 15 out of the box. Connectivity options include 5G support, dual-band Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.4 with LE, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
On the back, the Oppo K14x comes with a dual camera setup consisting of a 50MP primary sensor and a 2MP depth sensor. The rear cameras support 1080p video recording at up to 60 frames per second.
For selfies and video calls, the phone includes a 5MP front-facing camera.
The Oppo K14x is equipped with a 6,500 mAh battery. It supports 45W wired fast charging and also offers reverse wired charging.
The 4GB RAM and 128GB storage variant is priced at $165, while the 6GB RAM and 128GB storage model costs $185.
