Pakistan Captain Sold for Rs. 5.85 Crore at PSL 11 Auction

Karachi Kings have added Pakistan T20 captain Salman Ali Agha to their squad for Rs. 5.85 crore during the ongoing Pakistan Super League (PSL) Season 11 player auction at Lahore’s Expo Center.

Salman Ali Agha emerged as a key target for franchises due to his versatility in the middle order and ability to contribute with off-spin.

Known for anchoring innings while maintaining a healthy strike rate, he provides Karachi with balance as a dependable batter who can also deliver crucial overs when required.

He is currently leading Pakistan in the ongoing ICC T20 World Cup 2026 in Sri Lanka and India.

Karachi Kings are expected to slot him into a stabilizing role in the middle order, strengthening a lineup that aims to combine experience with multi-dimensional players under PSL’s new auction-based format.

The latest move continues a series of notable signings in the auction. Earlier, Sialkot Stallionz secured Sahibzada Farhan for Rs. 5.70 crore to reinforce their top order, Rawalpindi brought in pace ace Naseem Shah for Rs. 8.65 crore, and Lahore Qalandars signed Haris Rauf for Rs. 7.60 crore following his standout Big Bash League season, where he finished among the leading wicket-takers.

With franchises rapidly locking in their core players, PSL 11 is shaping up to be one of the most competitive editions yet.
