Gold prices in Pakistan increased on Tuesday, as international rates continued to rise even higher than $5,100 per ounce.
In the local market, the price of gold per tola rose to Rs. 539,962 after gaining Rs. 3,400 during the day.
Similarly, 10-gram gold was sold at Rs. 462,930, up Rs. 2,915, according to rates shared by the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).
On Monday, gold per tola had closed at Rs. 536,562 after gaining Rs. 3,000 during the day.
In the international market, gold prices increased by $34 to reach $5,172 per ounce, with a premium of $20.
Meanwhile, silver prices also rose even higher, rising by Rs. 192 to settle at Rs. 9,286 per tola.
