Kuwait’s Foreign Ministry has strongly condemned attacks carried out on its territory, saying they were conducted by Iran in a “flagrant violation” of Kuwait’s airspace and international law.
In a statement, the ministry said Kuwait reserves the right to respond in a manner that is “commensurate with the scale and nature of this attack.” It did not specify what form such a response could take.
The ministry also warned that any further military activity would seriously undermine stability in the region, stressing the risks posed by escalating tensions.
Kuwait remarks come after the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and Qatar declared that they have the right to retaliate to Iran’s missile attacks.
Several Gulf states report missile activity, air defense interceptions, and disruptions to air travel, with governments increasingly framing the attacks as violations of international law and signaling that further steps may follow.
