Qatar Also Vows to Respond to Iran

Qatar has issued a strong condemnation of Iran’s missile attack, warning that it reserves the right to respond in line with international law, as the region reels from a rapid escalation that began after Israel launched missile strikes on Tehran earlier today.

In a fresh statement, Qatar’s Foreign Ministry said it “strongly condemned” the targeting of Qatari territory with ballistic missiles, calling it a serious breach of national sovereignty and a direct threat to the country’s security.

The ministry described the strike as an unacceptable escalation that could further destabilize the region, stressing that such actions endanger broader Gulf security at a time when multiple countries are already on heightened alert due to the ongoing crisis.

Qatar’s remarks come after the United Arab Emirates (UAE) declared that they have the right to retaliate to Iran’s missile attacks. Several Gulf states report missile activity, air defense interceptions, and disruptions to air travel, with governments increasingly framing the attacks as violations of international law and signaling that further steps may follow.

This is a developing story, and more details are expected as authorities provide updates on the situation and any possible response measures.
