The Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA) has advised Pakistani nationals to avoid all non-mandatory travel to the Islamic Republic of Iran following reports of Israeli strikes and escalating tensions in Tehran.
According to international media reports, explosions were heard in downtown Tehran and Iranian officials signaled possible retaliation. In light of the developing situation, MoFA urged Pakistani citizens to exercise caution.
The ministry advised Pakistanis currently residing in Iran to remain vigilant, minimize non-essential movement and stay in regular contact with Pakistani diplomatic missions.
