The Sindh education authorities have approved the summer and winter break schedule for schools and colleges for 2026.
Sindh finalized summer vacations from June 1 to July 31, 2026, and winter vacations from December 21 to December 31, 2026.
The dates were endorsed during a Steering Committee meeting chaired by Sindh Education Minister Sardar Ali Shah, where the province also signed off on the broader 2026–27 academic calendar.
Under the approved plan, the 2026–27 academic year will begin on April 1, 2026. Admissions up to Class 9 will remain open from March 1 to March 31, 2026.
For secondary classes, Class 9 and Class 10 exams will be held from March 30 to April 15, 2026. The Class 10 result is scheduled for June 1, 2026, while the Class 9 result will be announced on June 15, 2026.
At the intermediate level, admissions for Class 11 will be completed under the Central Admission Policy from June 1 until the last week of July 2026.
Exams for Class 11 and Class 12 are scheduled from April 15 to April 30, 2026, with Class 12 results set for June 15, 2026 and Class 11 results expected on July 1, 2026.
The committee also approved automatic promotion for students in Classes 1 to 3 without examinations. Meanwhile, exams for Classes 4 to 8 will take place from March 1 to March 15, 2026.
