Infinix has introduced the Note 60 Ultra Design by Pininfarina, following the launch of the Note 60 and Note 60 Pro in mid-February. The Ultra model marks the first collaboration between Infinix and the Italian design firm Pininfarina. It is also the first smartphone to support two-way satellite calling across multiple countries, enabling both voice calls and text communication.
The Note 60 Ultra features a high-strength aluminum alloy frame. Its rear design centers on a Uni-Chassis Camera Module made from a single sheet of Gorilla Glass Victus that covers the triple camera system, a dot-matrix display, and a “Floating Taillight.” The illuminated taillight activates when the phone powers on or receives notifications, drawing inspiration from Pininfarina’s automotive design heritage as the firm approaches its 95th anniversary.
On the front, the phone carries a 6.78-inch OLED display with 1.5K resolution and a 144Hz refresh rate. Peak brightness reaches 4,500 nits. The panel is protected by Gorilla Glass 7i. The device carries an IP64 rating for dust and rain resistance. Stereo speakers tuned with Sound by JBL provide 360-degree audio. The Note 60 Ultra will be available in Torino Black, Monza Red, Amalfi Blue, and Roma Silver.
The device runs on the MediaTek Dimensity 8400 chipset built on a 4nm process. It features an all-big-core CPU configuration with eight Cortex-A725 cores and a Mali-G720 MC7 GPU. The chipset is cooled by a 3D IceCore vapor chamber.
The Note 60 Ultra is offered in a single configuration with 12GB of RAM, 256GB of storage, and built-in eSIM support.
It ships with Android 16 running XOS 16. Infinix has committed to three major OS updates and five years of security patches.
The retail package includes a MagCharge Base made from zinc alloy, a Kevlar-pattern MagPad, a custom Kevlar MagCase, and a Track-Edition SIM ejector.
The rear camera system is led by a 200MP main sensor based on a 1/1.4-inch Samsung HPE sensor, which supports 2x lossless zoom. It is paired with a 50MP periscope camera using the JN5 sensor, offering 3.5x optical magnification and up to 7x in-sensor zoom. A 112-degree ultra-wide camera completes the setup.
This model is the first Infinix device to support Ultra HDR Capture and XDR Display, powered by the company’s in-house XDR Image Engine.
The phone houses a 7,000 mAh silicon-carbon battery. Infinix states that its battery self-healing technology can recover 1% battery life per 200 charge cycles.
Charging supports 100W wired fast charging, reaching 50% in 18 minutes and 100% in 48 minutes. The device also supports 50W wireless charging through Infinix MagCharge, with compatible accessories included in the box.
In Malaysia, pricing starts at MYR 3,000, which converts to approximately $760. Global pricing details will be announced soon.
