Gold Falls Again in Pakistan As Markets React Negatively to Regional Tensions

Gold prices in Pakistan fell again on Friday, in line with losses in the international market.

The price of gold per tola dropped by Rs. 3,400 to reach Rs. 533,762, according to the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).

Similarly, 10-gram gold was sold at Rs. 457,614, down by Rs. 2,915. On Thursday, the price per tola had reached Rs. 537,162 after a decline of Rs. 2,800 during the day.

The international rate of gold also decreased by $34, bringing it to $5,110 per ounce, with a premium of $20.

Silver prices saw a slight increase, gaining Rs. 104 to Rs. 8,914 per tola.
