Chinese electric vehicle brand BYD has announced a limited-time offer on its vehicles in Pakistan, targeting prospective buyers in the local market.
Under the offer, customers purchasing any BYD vehicle will receive a free 7kW home charger. The company said installation and applicable taxes will be charged separately.
BYD Pakistan said the 7kW charger significantly reduces charging time compared to a standard 2kW unit. For instance, the BYD Atto 3 can be fully charged in approximately six to eight hours using the 7kW charger, compared to an estimated 22 to 24 hours with a lower-capacity charger.
The offer applies to all BYD vehicles available in Pakistan and will remain valid for a limited period. The company has not specified the exact duration of the promotion.
BYD Pakistan has advised interested buyers to confirm offer details, including installation requirements and additional charges, through its official channels before making a purchase.

BYD is globally (specifically in China) known for its price reductions, even on latest models…. people regret buying at high price that later reduced, zero resale value. Batteries lost it’s recharging capacity. Explosions & fire are common. China introduced new law for EV batteries ‘No Fire, No Explosion’ to be enforced from 1st July 2026 !
Is this an April Fool comment especially regarding safety.
Depreciation is a fact of life on fast paced improving technology. Present EV give better value than present models of ICE. This advantage doesn’t disappear if future EV give even better value.
