Gold prices in Pakistan continued to edge closer to Rs. 5 lac per tola after posting small gains on Tuesday as international rates also increased today.
The price of one tola increased by Rs. 2,800 to Rs. 478,762, while 10 grams appreciated by Rs. 2,401 to Rs. 410,461, according to the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).
On Monday, gold rose to Rs. 475,962 per tola after gaining Rs. 3,900 during the session.
The international market saw gold prices increase by $28, bringing the rate to $4,560 per ounce, with an additional $20 premium.
Silver rose by Rs. 260 to settle at Rs. 7,784 per tola.
