The Pakistan Consulate General in Jeddah has officially launched the e-passport service for overseas Pakistanis, offering advanced security, biometric verification, and faster immigration processing.
According to a spokesperson, this initiative will provide Pakistanis living abroad with access to modern travel documents.
The e-passport features laser-printed data and microchip technology, making it more secure and up to date. It also includes multiple security features to reduce the risk of forgery and data theft.
Officials said the introduction of e-passports will make the immigration process faster and easier. The improved security features, which meet international standards, will further enhance the safety of Pakistani passports.
Overseas Pakistanis can now obtain e-passport services directly from the Pakistan Consulate in Jeddah.
