The Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority has issued a notification increasing the price of kerosene oil by Rs. 34.08 per litre.
Following the latest revision, the new price of kerosene has been fixed at Rs. 467.48 per litre, up from the previous rate of Rs. 433.40 per litre.
The increase comes amid broader upward revisions in petroleum product prices as the government and regulators continue to adjust domestic fuel rates in line with global oil market volatility.
The latest hike is expected to add further pressure on household fuel costs, particularly in areas where kerosene is widely used for heating and domestic purposes.
The revision follows recent sharp increases in petrol and diesel prices, reflecting continued pressure from international crude oil markets and regional geopolitical tensions.
