The iconic Serena Hotel in Islamabad has been temporarily requisitioned by the Government of Pakistan to host delegations from the United States and Iran, high-level sources told ProPakistani.

All current guests were asked to vacate their rooms by 6 PM today, with the hotel’s front office assisting in arranging alternative accommodations.

The hotel’s general manager has issued a formal notice stating that the hotel will remain fully occupied from this evening until Sunday evening under government instructions. The hotel’s business complex and offices within the premises have been closed for security reasons.
