Education Authority Takes Action Against Fake School Registrations

The District Education Authority Lahore (DEA) has taken strict notice of private schools obtaining registration through fake documents, directing immediate verification of records.

Under new instructions, all private school owners must submit original hard copies of their registration documents within three days for scrutiny.

Mandatory document verification

Authorities said that details submitted on the PEPRS portal must match original documents. Any forgery or bogus certificates will lead to strict legal action.

  • Proof of clean drinking water facilities
  • Complete student records

Additionally, institutions must submit proof of ownership or tenancy along with lists of students enrolled under free education schemes.
