Google has introduced a new feature for its AI platform Gemini that allows users to generate interactive simulations directly within chats.
The update enables Gemini to turn complex questions into dynamic visual models, offering a more hands-on way to explore different concepts.
Previously, Gemini handled such queries with text explanations and static diagrams. With this update, it can now create functional simulations that users can interact with in real time.
These simulations are designed to help users better understand complex topics by visualizing them instead of relying only on written explanations.
Google said the feature can be used for a range of scenarios, such as rotating a molecule, simulating physics systems, or visualizing how the moon orbits the Earth.
Users can also adjust variables within the simulation to see how different inputs affect the outcome, making the experience more interactive.
The feature is currently rolling out globally to Gemini users, although it is not yet available for Education and Workspace accounts.
To access it, users need to select the Pro model within Gemini. Once enabled, they can request visualizations or simulations for complex topics directly in the chat.
