Faheem Ashraf achieved a major milestone during Islamabad United’s Pakistan Super League (PSL 11) match against Hyderabad Kingsmen at the National Bank Stadium, becoming only the fifth bowler in PSL history to reach 100 wickets.
The Islamabad United right-arm pacer reached the landmark after taking two wickets in his 89th PSL appearance, joining an elite group that includes Hasan Ali, Shaheen Shah Afridi, Wahab Riaz, and Shadab Khan.
Highest Wicket-Takers in PSL
| Rank | Player | Team | Wickets |

| 3 | Wahab Riaz | Peshawar Zalmi | 113 |

Despite the milestone, Islamabad United’s winning streak came to an end as they were defeated by Kingsmen.
After being asked to bat first, Islamabad United posted 153-9 in their 20 overs. The decision by Kingsmen captain Marnus Labuschagne proved effective as his bowlers restricted United to a modest total.
Devon Conway top-scored with 45 off 31 balls, hitting seven fours, while Mark Chapman added 42 from 30 deliveries. Sameer Minhas (22) and Mohammad Faiq (18) were the only other batters to reach double figures.
Debutant Asif Mehmood impressed with four wickets, while Mohammad Ali took two. Glenn Maxwell also picked up one wicket.
In reply, Kingsmen chased down the 154-run target comfortably, finishing with four wickets in hand and 11 balls to spare. Labuschagne led the chase with an unbeaten 61 off 53 balls, including six boundaries.
He was supported by Maaz Sadaqat (30) and Saim Ayub (35), before sharing a decisive unbeaten stand with Maxwell, who scored 21 off just nine deliveries.
For Islamabad United, stand-in captain Chris Green and Faheem Ashraf claimed two wickets each, but their efforts were not enough to prevent defeat.
