An artificial intelligence-based e-challan system has been introduced in Khanewal as part of efforts by the Punjab Safe Cities Authority to modernize traffic enforcement.
According to an official statement, the system is now operational and uses advanced monitoring tools to detect traffic violations automatically.
Automated Traffic Monitoring
The AI-powered system identifies offences such as speeding, lane violations, and other breaches without manual intervention.
Authorities say the technology will help improve enforcement efficiency and reduce reliance on on-ground personnel.
Focus on Compliance and Safety
Officials said the initiative is designed to strengthen compliance with traffic laws and improve road safety through data-driven monitoring.
Residents have been advised to follow traffic rules and cooperate with authorities as the system is implemented across the city.

Its good step but why is the wrong overtaking or wrong way is not checked. The routes are sold no one bothers and lastly Chinchi Rikshaw are without license plates
I have serious observation about the accuracy, sometimes there is yellow light on crossing whereas the pictures show red. What is the authenticity of the shown photos on challan.
