Huawei has officially introduced the Pura 90 alongside the Pro models. While the standard version uses a more understated design than the higher-end variants, it arrives with a larger battery and a conventional triple-camera setup.
The new model combines a slim body, flagship charging speeds, and Huawei’s latest software platform.
The Huawei Pura 90 is available in Snow White, Velvet Black, and Roland Purple color options. Huawei said the device weighs 210 grams and measures just 7.0mm thick.
On the front, the phone features a 6.8-inch display with a resolution of 2856 x 1320 pixels. It uses an LTPO OLED panel with an adaptive refresh rate from 1Hz to 120Hz and a 300Hz touch sampling rate. The screen is protected by Kunlun Glass.
Huawei has also given the phone IP68 and IP69 ratings, offering resistance against water immersion up to two meters as well as protection from high-pressure water jets.
The Pura 90 is powered by Huawei’s 7nm Kirin 9010S chipset. It is offered with either 12GB or 16GB of RAM, while storage options include 256GB and 512GB variants.
The device runs HarmonyOS 6.1 out of the box.
Huawei has equipped the Pura 90 with a triple rear camera system. The setup includes a 50MP main wide-angle camera with a 24mm f/1.8 lens, a 12.5MP ultra-wide camera with a 13mm f/2.2 lens, and a 50MP periscope telephoto camera with an 88mm f/2.2 lens.
For selfies, the phone carries a 50MP front-facing camera.
One of the main highlights of the standard Pura 90 is its 6,500 mAh battery, which is larger than the batteries used in the Pro models. Huawei has also included 100W wired fast charging and 50W wireless charging support.
The Huawei Pura 90 comes in three configurations.
Huawei said the phone is expected to arrive before May 13.
