Sindh Issues Guidelines to Private Schools on Fee Collection

The Sindh Education Department has issued new instructions to private schools regarding fee collection after the start of the 2026–27 academic year.

Additional Director Registration Rafia Javed said the academic session began on April 1 and directed schools not to charge matric students beyond March 2026, as they are currently appearing in examinations.

She said matric exams started on April 10, 2026, and instructed that no additional fee be imposed on students taking the exams. According to the department, a fee schedule is already in place for students moving from Grade 9 to Grade 10.

Rafia Javed said schools will collect fees for June and July 2026 during April and May, while the new fee system will also apply to students from pre-primary to Grade 9.

She also directed schools to issue separate fee vouchers, adding that June vouchers will remain valid until June 30, while July vouchers will be valid until July 31, 2026.

  • The fee is already high. It should be reduced. Not increased at all.

    Or charge them Corporations tax.

  • There are a lot of rules n instructions. But the need if the day is to get them implicated. Ma’am could u plz make it possible??? If these rules r followed at least 70% issues of students n parents would be solved. Need yr attention n sincerity only!!!!!

    • why not Sindh Government apply same rules for Cambridge system, private o/A’Level school s closed since April and examination started since 25 April??? And these private schools are collecting very high fee, allowed to get till Jun/ July as well,🙏🙏

  • The school have already taken matric April fee and we’re not giving admit card without April fee
