PSL 11 Playoff Schedule Confirmed

The playoff lineups for the Pakistan Super League (PSL 11) have been confirmed following Islamabad United’s four-wicket victory over Multan Sultans in the final league-stage match at National Stadium.

All four qualifying teams, Peshawar Zalmi, Islamabad United, Multan Sultans and Hyderabad Kingsmen, had already been confirmed earlier in the day after Hyderabad Kingsmen secured a dominant 108-run win against RawalPindiz. However, the evening fixture remained crucial as it determined the top-two positions.

In the high-stakes encounter, Islamabad United captain Shadab Khan won the toss and elected to field. The Multan Sultans posted a competitive total of 192-7 through a collective batting effort.

Chasing 193, Islamabad United completed the target with six wickets down and eight balls remaining. The win secured them second place in the standings.

As a result, Islambad United will face league leaders Peshawar Zalmi in the Qualifier, scheduled to take place at the same venue on Tuesday.

Multan Sultans, meanwhile, dropped to third place and will now play Hyderabad Kingsmen in Eliminator 1 at Gaddafi Stadium on Wednesday.

The winner of the Qualifier will advance directly to the PSL 11 final. The losing side will get another opportunity, facing the winner of Eliminator 1 in Eliminator 2, which will be played in Lahore on May 1.

The winner of Eliminator 2 will then meet the Qualifier winner in the final, scheduled for May 3 at Gaddafi Stadium.
