The Higher Education Commission has introduced a new online system for degree attestation, eliminating the need for applicants to visit its offices in person.
The digital platform came into effect on May 1 and allows users to submit degree verification requests entirely online, marking a major step toward streamlining administrative services.
Easier and faster process
Under the new system, applicants can complete the entire attestation process remotely, reducing the need for multiple visits and long waiting times.
Officials say the initiative will:
- Save time for applicants
- Lower travel and processing costs
- Improve accessibility nationwide
- Shift from physical to digital
Previously, individuals were required to appear physically at HEC offices for degree attestation. With thousands of applications processed each year, the manual system often led to delays and inconvenience.
The new online setup aims to simplify and speed up verification while ensuring transparency and efficiency.
