Apple chief financial officer Kevan Parekh has said the iPhone 17 family was Apple’s most popular lineup to date and added that the iPhone may have gained market share during the quarter.
This statement came alongside Apple’s latest earnings report for the quarter ending March 28, posting revenue of $111.2 billion.
The company said revenue increased 17% compared with the same quarter last year.
Apple chief executive Tim Cook said the company delivered its best March quarter on record. He added that the iPhone 17 lineup achieved Apple’s strongest March quarter performance for iPhone sales. Cook also said Apple’s Services division reached an all-time high during the quarter.
Apple generated more than $28 billion in operating cash flow.
Apple said total product revenue reached $80.2 billion. Services revenue totaled $31 billion. The iPhone business alone generated $57 billion in revenue.
The company said iPhone sales posted double-digit growth in several markets, including the US, Western Europe, India, Japan, Greater China, and Southeast Asia.
Apple reported $8.4 billion in Mac revenue. Revenue from the iPad segment reached $6.9 billion. Wearables, Home, and Accessories generated $7.9 billion during the quarter.
