Pakistan Railways has stirred a fresh round of online debate after its official account shared an AI-generated cartoon to mock the Indian Air Force while promoting train travel.
The post featured a smiling train with damaged fighter jets shown on its side, in what many users viewed as a cheeky reference to last year’s Pakistan-India military clash.
The message was widely interpreted as an attempt to present railway travel as the safer option while also taking a swipe at India’s air power.
The image quickly went viral on social media, where many users reacted with laughter and praise over the bold tone of the post. On the other side, the post drew angry reactions from Indian users.
The post appeared to tap into continuing debate surrounding the aerial confrontation between Pakistan and India last year, particularly claims about losses suffered by the Indian Air Force.
While figures regarding the number and type of aircraft lost remain disputed, the clash remains a major talking point online and in regional commentary.
