Eviction Fears Rise Across Islamabad With 99 Famous Housing Societies Blacklisted

The Capital Development Authority (CDA) has issued an official notice declaring 99 housing and agro-farming societies in Islamabad illegal.

These societies, located mainly in Zones III and IV, have been found marketing and advertising plots without obtaining the required approvals from the CDA, in violation of the CDA Ordinance 1960 and the ICT Zoning Regulations 1992.

The CDA has warned the public to avoid buying or selling plots in these schemes and has ordered sponsors to immediately stop all promotional and sales activities.
