In the international market, gold prices fell by $27 per ounce to $4,717 per ounce.

Meanwhile, silver prices moved higher, with per tola silver gaining Rs. 80 to reach Rs. 8,525.

Today’s close is based on the market’s conserved reaction to earlier clashes between Iran and US naval forces at Hormuz. The ceasefire is still in effect despite the brief curfuffle.

Money markets and precious metals stayed on course for a green ending to the week.
