A new leak tied to CAPCOM has surfaced online, mentioning several rumored projects related to the Resident Evil and Devil May Cry franchises.
The information appeared after well-known CAPCOM leaker Dusk Golem confirmed claims from an anonymous insider that Ada Wong will appear in downloadable content for Resident Evil Requiem.
However, after identifying the anonymous insider as his source, Reddit users reviewed the same account’s earlier posts and uncovered additional unverified CAPCOM-related claims.
Dusk Golem later distanced himself from the most widely discussed rumors, stating that claims regarding a Devil May Cry remake and Resident Evil 10 protagonist details did not originate from him.
Devil May Cry Remake
One of the biggest claims from the leak is that a full remake of the original Devil May Cry is reportedly in active development.
The original game launched in 2001 for the PlayStation 2. No additional details about the remake project were provided.
The Devil May Cry series has not received a new mainline release since Devil May Cry 5 in 2019, which became the best-selling title in the franchise with around 11 million units sold.
Former series director Hideaki Itsuno left CAPCOM in 2024 following the release of Dragon’s Dogma 2 and is now working at Tencent’s LightSpeed studio.
Several Resident Evil Remakes
The leak also outlined a reported Resident Evil roadmap tied to an internal meeting held in mid 2022.
According to the claims, four major projects were approved:
- Project Chambers — Resident Evil Zero remake
- Project Fallen — Resident Evil 1 remake
- Project Redlife — Resident Evil 10
- Resident Evil: Code Veronica remake
The leak states that both the Resident Evil Zero remake and Resident Evil 10 will use CAPCOM’s rumored new REX Engine instead of the current RE Engine.
Resident Evil 10, reportedly codenamed Project Redlife, is said to feature Claire Redfield as the protagonist.
The leak also claims the Code Veronica remake could be announced at Summer Game Fest with a possible Q1 2027 release window, followed by the Resident Evil Zero remake in 2028, the Resident Evil 1 remake in 2029, and Resident Evil 10 around 2030.
Ada Wong DLC
The only detail directly supported by Dusk Golem was the claim that Ada Wong will appear in Resident Evil Requiem DLC.
The leak also suggested multiple story DLC expansions may be planned for Requiem, similar to how CAPCOM supported Resident Evil Village with the Winters’ Expansion and Shadows of Rose content.
Beyond Ada Wong’s reported appearance, the remaining claims remain unverified and originated from an anonymous source.

Not worth it.
Capcom ruined and turned resident evil 4 remake into a soulless slop
The logo was just letters while the original was great logo
The original was 20 years ago and had laser sight for every weapon. Now just 2
The original had speaking villagers. Remake had gibberish
The original had eery environment and more open feel. The remake is extremely claustrophobic environment
The original had actors giving performance. The remake has just paper reading
The original had weapons variety show news 1 has nothing.
The original, best of all, had horror elements with artistic vision. The new one has no horror elements.
So Capcom can make a great game. But they can’t make a good remake.
Thankfully, you’re one against tens of millions who think otherwise
