Pakistan has announced its squad for the 33rd Asian Junior Individual Squash Championships 2026, scheduled to be held from May 20 to 24 in Panzhihua, China.
According to the Pakistan Squash Federation (PSF), the national contingent will be led by Director Academies Group Captain (R) Irfan Asghar and Head Coach Fahim Gul.
The seven-member Pakistani squad for the Asian Junior Squash Championships includes five boys and two girls, who will compete in different age categories.
In the boys’ events, Abdullah Nawaz will compete in the Under-19 category, Nouman Khan in Under-17, Ahmed Rayyan Khalil and Sohail Adnan in Under-15, and Mustafa Khan in Under-13.
In the girls’ competitions, sisters Sehrish Ali and Mahnoor Ali will represent Pakistan in the Under-15 category.
The championship is one of Asia’s major junior squash events and gives young players a platform to gain international exposure and improve their continental rankings.
Pakistan squash officials expressed confidence that the young players would deliver strong performances and continue the country’s rich legacy in the sport.
