How to Get Up to Rs. 5000 Under Benazir Taleemi Wazaif Program

The Government of Pakistan is providing education stipends to students under the Benazir Taleemi Wazaif Program to promote school enrollment and help reduce dropout rates among children from low-income families.

Under the program, quarterly education stipends are given to children of active beneficiaries of the BISP Kafalat Program.

Who is Eligible?

To apply for the Benazir Taleemi Wazaif Program, the following conditions must be met:

  • The mother must be a registered and active beneficiary of the BISP Kafalat Program.
  • The child must have a valid NADRA B-Form/CRC.
  • The child must also fall within the required age limit for their education level.

Primary Education 4 to 12 years
Secondary Education 8 to 18 years
Higher Secondary Education 13 to 22 years

How to Register for Benazir Taleemi Wazaif

Parents or guardians can register their children by following these steps:

Step 1: Visit the Nearest BISP Office

Go to the nearest BISP Field Office with the child.

Step 2: Provide Required Details

Submit the child’s NADRA-issued B-Form/CRC and the mobile number already registered with BISP.

Step 3: Get Enrollment Slip

The BISP officer will register the child and issue an enrollment slip.

Step 4: Get the Slip Verified by School

Take the enrollment slip to the child’s school and get it verified and stamped.

The slip must include:

  • Child’s class and section
  • School name
  • Class teacher’s name and details
  • Head teacher’s verification

Step 5: Submit the Verified Slip

Submit the verified enrollment slip back to the BISP office. After verification, the education stipend will be released.

Required Documents

Parents or guardians must carry the following documents during enrollment:

CNIC CNIC of the BISP beneficiary mother
B-Form/CRC NADRA-issued B-Form/CRC of the child
Admission Slip School or college admission slip verified by the teacher

Officials said that verification of the child’s B-Form through the NADRA database is mandatory for enrollment in the program.

Attendance Requirement

Children enrolled in the program must maintain at least 70 percent attendance at their school or college to continue receiving the stipend. Students who fail to meet the attendance requirement may stop receiving the stipend.

Under the program, boys and girls receive different quarterly stipend amounts.

Additional Bonus for Girls

The program also provides a one-time graduation bonus of Rs. 3,000 to girls upon successful completion of primary education. This additional incentive is provided under the program to encourage girls to continue their education.
