Huawei has confirmed that it will unveil the Nova 16 series in China on June 1. The company will also launch the MatePad Pro Max at the same event, after the tablet made its global debut earlier this month.
The Nova 16 lineup will include four models: the Nova 16, Nova 16 Pro, Nova 16z, and Nova 16 Ultra. Huawei has also opened reservations for the phones in China.
The Nova 16 Pro and Nova 16 Ultra will feature a triple rear camera setup. The sensors and LED flash are placed inside two large circular discs on top of a rectangular camera island.
Huawei has shown the Nova 16 Pro in Sky Blue and Iridescent color options.
The standard Nova 16 will come with a dual rear camera setup. However, it keeps a similar overall design to the Pro and Ultra models.
The Nova 16z has a different rear design, using a pill-shaped camera module. It is shown with dual rear cameras and dual LED flashes.
The Nova 16 Pro and Nova 16 Ultra appear to feature dual front cameras inside a pill-shaped cutout.
The standard Nova 16 and Nova 16z use a single hole punch cutout for the selfie camera.
Huawei is expected to share more details before the launch. According to a recent leak, the Nova 16 Ultra will feature a 6.84-inch LTPO display, a Kirin 9 series chipset, and a 7,000mAh battery.
The phone is also rumored to include a 50MP main rear camera with a 1/1.3 inch sensor.
