Vivo Y600 Turbo Could Easily Be a Three-Day Phone With Its Gigantic Battery

Vivo has officially launched the Vivo Y600 Turbo in China as scheduled. The phone comes with one of Vivo’s largest batteries, sitting behind only the Vivo Y600 Pro in the company’s lineup. It features a massive 9,020mAh battery, with a typical capacity listed at 9,000mAh.

Vivo says the battery can retain at least 80% health after 1,200 charge cycles. It also supports 90W fast charging, reverse wired charging, and global direct power supply.

Design and Display

Despite the large battery, the Vivo Y600 Turbo measures 8.29mm thick and weighs 215 grams. The phone is available in Dune Gold, Electric Blue, and Millennium Pink color options.

On the front, it features a 6.83-inch AMOLED display with a 1.5K resolution of 2800 x 1260 pixels.

The panel supports a 120Hz refresh rate, up to 5,000 nits of peak brightness, and 1.07 billion colors. It also includes 4320Hz high-frequency PWM dimming for eye comfort.

It also carries IP68 and IP69 ratings for ingress protection.

Internals and Software

The Vivo Y600 Turbo is powered by the Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 mobile platform, which is built on a 4nm process.

The chipset is paired with up to 12GB of RAM and 512GB of internal storage. Vivo is using LPDDR4X RAM and UFS 3.1 storage.

Graphics are handled by the Adreno 810 GPU. The phone runs OriginOS 6 and supports 5G, WiFi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, NFC, in-display fingerprint scanning, and multiple navigation systems.

Cameras

The Vivo Y600 Turbo has a dual rear camera setup. It includes a 50MP main rear camera and a 2MP depth sensor.

On the front, the phone has an 8MP selfie camera.

Both the front and rear cameras support EIS stabilization. The rear camera can record video at up to 4K resolution.

Battery and Pricing

The Vivo Y600 Turbo packs a 9,020mAh battery, with a typical capacity listed at 9,000mAh. It supports 90W fast charging, reverse wired charging, and global direct power supply.

Pricing starts at around $339 for the 8GB and 256GB models. The 12GB and 256GB versions cost around $382. The 12GB and 512GB models are priced at around $426.
