Internet and mobile phone services are likely to be suspended in Azad Kashmir from June 6.
Sources told ProPakistani that mobile and internet services may remain temporarily suspended across parts of Azad Kashmir until June 12.
Instructions regarding the suspension of mobile and internet services have been issued to the Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) as a precautionary measure.
So far, PTA has not officially confirmed receiving any directives in this regard. However, any such instructions by the federal government would be reviewed and implemented in accordance with standard operating procedures, sources said.
Efforts are underway to address the situation, while authorities are evaluating additional administrative measures to ensure continuity of services.
Authorities are expected to finalize decisions in the coming days, depending on the situation.
