The Sindh government has imposed a ban on bringing mango boxes and crates into the Sindh Secretariat, citing security concerns at the sensitive government complex.
According to an official notification, the restriction applies to the main Sindh Secretariat building as well as Barracks A-4 and B-4.
Under the directive, security personnel have been instructed to stop the entry of mango crates and boxes into the Secretariat premises in all circumstances.
The notification says the order has been issued as part of security measures, with staff told to ensure strict enforcement across the compound.
Authorities have directed security officials to make sure that no mango boxes are allowed inside the Secretariat, underscoring the sensitivity of the site and the need for tighter checks on items being brought into the premises.
The order effectively bars the entry of mango consignments into one of the province’s most important administrative buildings, with security staff made responsible for full compliance.
