Karachi residents are facing renewed frustration over gas supply disruptions, with many saying the announced timings are not being properly followed in several parts of the city.
According to consumers, gas is officially supposed to be available from 6am to 10am, but in many areas the supply is not restored until around 7am.
Residents have also complained that in some neighborhoods gas is being cut off before the scheduled time, with supply reportedly ending around 9:30am instead of 10am.
The gap between the announced schedule and actual supply has created problems for households, particularly during morning hours when families rely on gas for cooking and other routine needs.
Residents say the situation is causing particular difficulty for women managing household work, as meal preparation is being disrupted due to shorter and delayed supply windows.
The complaints have also raised questions over the implementation of the government-announced schedule, with consumers alleging that the utility company is not fully complying with the stated gas timings.
