Lahore Traffic Police Launches New Facility for Rickshaw Drivers

The City Traffic Police Lahore (CTPL) has introduced a special Sunday licensing facility for rickshaw drivers to make it easier for them to obtain driving licences and comply with traffic regulations.

Under the initiative, rickshaw drivers can apply for driving licences every Sunday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Manawan Licensing Centre, where dedicated arrangements have been made to facilitate applicants.

Chief Traffic Officer (CTO) Lahore Syed Abdul Rahim Shirazi said the initiative is aimed at improving road safety and traffic discipline by ensuring drivers have adequate knowledge of traffic laws, road safety measures and responsible driving practices.
